Service Is Key As Total Recycling Divert Thousands Of Tonnes Of Waste
phs Wastekit works with one of the UK’s biggest waste management companies to help process thousands of tonnes of material for recycling every year, diverting the waste from landfill.
Specialising in commercial recycling, Total Recycling Services has three large-scale sites across the UK and works with big names including Akzonobel, Gestamp and JCB to manage a variety of different waste streams, including liquid and hazardous waste, general waste and recycling. It processes up to 100,000 tonnes of recycling every year.
Since 2013, phs Wastekit has worked closely with Total Recycling to provide high-quality balers and compactors and fast-response maintenance services to ensure the best service for their customers.
Total Recycling has a number of phs Wastekit machines on its sites, which are processing over 6,500 tonnes of material for recycling every year. This includes card, polystyrene and plastics.
There are a combination of small balers which create bales between 50-80kg, medium balers, producing bales of 150-225kg, and large balers, producing bales from 450-600kg. The large balers alone divert 4,000 tonnes of waste from landfill every year.
There are also semi/fully automatic balers, portable compactors and static compactors across the sites, processing cardboard and over 1,000 tonnes of general waste every year.

We have the ability to pause contracts or take a payment holiday if needed and increase equipment as and when required.
